Theme: What ECHO Means to Me


To celebrate the launch of the UT Health San Antonio ECHO Superhub, we are hosting an image competition to showcase the vibrancy and power of ECHO telementorship to improve lives. We want to see your best images (photograph, drawing, painting, digital artwork) showing us what this all-teach, all-learn model of guided practice and lifelong learning means to you!

There is no cost to submit and you may enter up to 3 images. Submissions will be accepted through Thursday, October 21st (11:59pm Central). Winners will be announced on the final day of our launch week: Friday, October 22nd. First place will receive a $150 gift card. One runner up will receive a $75 gift card. All entries are eligible to be featured on our website and other social media outlets.
Image contest rules, terms, and conditions
  • Image competition runs from October 5 – 21, 2021
  • Winners will be selected and notified no later than Friday, October 22nd at 11:59 PM (Central)
  • You may submit up to 3 photos as long as your content relates to the theme, “What ECHO Means to Me.”
  • All entries must be original work, feature an ECHO theme, and include a description of the image.
  • Only digital images will be accepted (.png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif formats) and must be at least 300 dpi resolution.
  • Photographer grants unlimited, nonexclusive use license to the UT Health San Antonio ECHO Program (UTHSA ECHO) but will retain all copyright privileges for any and all submitted images. UTHSA ECHO reserves the right to use the images in printed materials and by electronic means for self-promotion. As a condition of this permission, UTHSA ECHO shall properly attribute images to their creators.
  • UTHSA ECHO is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries or for miscommunications, misdirected transmissions, or other errors of any kind whether electronic or human in nature.
  • By entering this contest, participants release and hold harmless UTHSA ECHO, the ReACH Center, and UT Health San Antonio as well as any employees thereof.
  • Entries will be judged by a volunteer panel of UTHSA ECHO team members and all decisions are final.
  • Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of the judges.
  • UTHSA ECHO reserves the right to reject any entry which may be perceived as obscene, objectionable, or having content irrelevant to the theme.
